Confusion surrounds charges against BK teen

BROOKLYN - Misconduct charges against a Brooklyn teen that she thought were being dismissed may not be dropped after all.

Police say Tiffany Jiminez became unruly when a gay club in Brooklyn was being evacuated in May. Jiminez has accused police officers of unnecessary force and using anti-gay slurs during the incident.

Jiminez's lawyer say they were told Friday by an assistant Brooklyn district attorney that the misconduct charges were being dropped, but a judge Monday said he was unaware of those plans.
