PARK SLOPE - A Park Slope temple celebrated its 150th anniversary today by dedicating a new Torah.

Members of Congregation Beth Elohim say the new Torah is special because it's the first Torah in New York City to be completed by a woman.

The temple's annual Sukkot block party, complete with live music and arts and crafts, followed the Torah dedication.
