BROOKLYN - People commuting through Brooklyn this weekend may be affected by some construction projects in the area.

Nevins Street will be closed on Saturday and Sunday between Schermerhorn Street and Livingston Street between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Another street closure will take place on Bridge Street between Fulton Street and Willoughby Street on Saturday and Sunday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

As for mass transit, there will be some track-work going on in Brooklyn. There will be no R trains between lower Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn. Coney Island-bound F trains will run on the A track from West 4th Street to Jay Street-MetroTech.

Alternate side parking rules will be in effect this weekend city-wide.
