Cops: 12 arrested in Park Slope heroin bust

BROOKLYN - Authorities say they have arrested and indicted 12 suspects for allegedly operating a heroin ring in Park Slope.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, the suspects sold more than $70,000 in heroin, as well as cocaine. They say they worked in streets adjacent to Prospect Park and in the areas of 9th and 10th streets between 4th and 5th avenues.

Narcotics officers say the main focus of their operation was three men named Fransisco Perez, Edwin Perez and Jose Trinidad. They say the men are all being charged in connection with approximately two-dozen sales to undercover cops.
