Cops: 2 gunmen snatch cell phone in Coney Island

BROOKLYN - Police are searching for two gunman who they say stole the cell phone from a man in Coney Island Sunday afternoon.

The suspects were caught on surveillance video inside a building on West 27th Street where cops say they took the phone from someone they rode the elevator with. Both suspects allegedly flashed firearms when the owner tried to get his phone back.

The men are described as black and between 18-25 years old. Anyone who recognizes them is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.

The victim was able to walk away physically unharmed.
