Cops: 2 gutsy gunmen rob AT&T store in Midwood

BROOKLYN - Police are on the hunt for two men who pulled off a brazen armed robbery at a Midwood cell phone store yesterday morning. Investigators say the suspects were dressed in FedEx-like uniforms when they robbed the AT&T store at Coney Island Avenue and Kings Highway. It happened just after 9 a.m., they say. Detectives say the suspects flashed weapons and made off with about $2,500 worth of electronics, including 25 iPhones, 25 BlackBerrys and an unspecified amount of cash. Police say the robbers fled on foot. Neighbors say the gutsy mid-morning robbery has them on high alert.Investigators say they hope several surveillance cameras from inside the store will yield some clues.
