Cops: At least 1 child struck by car in Sunset Park

At least one child was hit when a group of three attempted to cross the street in Sunset Park Friday morning. According to first responders,

BROOKLYN - At least one child was hit when a group of three attempted to cross the street in Sunset Park Friday morning.

According to first responders, it happened at around 9 a.m. on 4th Avenue near 44th Street. They say one child is 3 years old, but the ages of the other two are not confirmed.

EMS says the kids were taken to Lutheran Medical Center and are expected to be OK.

The driver remained on the scene, but there is no word on whether charges will be filed.
