BROOKLYN - Police say an illegal prescription drug ring based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles has been taken down.

The district attorney's office says Pinchas Goldshtein would pay dealers in California to send the drugs, mainly Adderall, Vicodin and Percocet to Brooklyn, where he would have wholesale dealers sell the pills on Craigslist.

Cops say the dealers targeted middle- and upper-class young professionals and students.

District Attorney Charles Hynes says he will not offer a plea bargain to the defendants. If convicted, they face up to 25 years in prison.
