BROOKLYN - Cops say an ex-con is back in jail after confessing to shooting his parole officer in Brooklyn.

Police say 50-year-old Robert Morales shot the officer in the right shoulder with a handgun just before 7 p.m yesterday.

According to authorities, Morales was released in 2002 after he was arrested multiple times for burglary, arson, murder and a fire bombing that killed a boy and injured two others.
