BROOKLYN - Police say that speeding may have contributed to a fatal motorcycle accident this morning in Brooklyn. The incident occurred at around 6 a.m. near the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Bond Street.

Witnesses say a man was run over by an SUV this morning after he lost control of his motorcycle and flipped onto the road. According to witnesses, a doctor happened to be in the area and tried to revive the biker with CPR. Emergency responders say at least two people were rushed to Long Island College Hospital.

The driver stayed at the scene and is not expected to be charged.
