Cops find dead baby, nab 2 in sex traffic case

BROOKLYN - Police say they discovered the body of a baby in a Sunset Park apartment Wednesday and arrested two people for allegedly having a sex slave.

According to authorities, 33-year-old Domingo Salazar and his wife, 32-year-old Norma Mendez, brought a woman to the U.S. from Mexico and held her prisoner in their 40th Street house for two years. Police say they forced her to perform sexual acts.

Police believe the baby, who was discovered embedded in cement, was the victim's child. The baby may have died in January 2008. A medical examiner will perform an autopsy on the baby's body Friday.

Salazar and Mendez are being held without bail.
