BROOKLYN - Police are on the hunt for the gunman behind a deadly shooting in Crown Heights.

According to authorities, a 30-year-old man was shot on the corner of Schenectady Avenue and Union Street Monday. Witnesses say he ran to Saint Augustine American Catholic Orthodox Church where he collapsed on the steps.

Officials believe the shooter is a black man who fled the scene in a gray vehicle. They're asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
