BROOKLYN - Police are investigating the stabbing of one victim and the death of the man's brother this morning.

Police say a man they found stabbed in Gerritsen Beach is the brother of a man whose beaten body washed up on the shore near Plumb Channel yesterday.

The deceased was identified as 28-year-old Tim Murray. Authorities say his brother was stabbed near a Laundromat on Gerritsen Avenue the same day. The stabbing victim is in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.
