BROOKLYN - Police are combing through evidence at the home of a man found dead inside an oversized duffel bag in Bed-Stuy.

According to police sources, 31-year-old Jimi Edwards was discovered with trauma to the torso early Sunday morning. They say his body was left on the sidewalk along with a blanket and a dresser drawer in front of 750 Madison St., which is one block from his home at 684 Madison St.

The medical examiner has not yet determined the exact cause of death, and detectives have not made any arrests or named any suspects in the case.
