BOROUGH PARK - Police say thieves broke into a Borough Park synagogue and stole several Torahs.

According to authorities, the thieves entered the synagogue at 1556 53rd St. through a back window. A synagogue member says the stolen Torahs are worth more than $250,000.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
