Cops: Vandals break windows of 8 cars

BROOKLYN - Police say vandals have smashed the windows of eight vehicles on East 49th, 51st, and 52nd streets since yesterday.

According to residents in the Flatlands area, the recent string of break-ins isn't the first. They say they've noticed a pattern of cars being vandalized over the past four months.

Victims complain that they have nowhere else to keep their cars except out on the streets and want whoever is responsible to finally get caught.

Police say nothing has been stolen from any of the vehicles.
