BROOKLYN - Police have zeroed in on the suspect who allegedly gunned down a woman in the courtyard of her own Bed-Stuy apartment building.

Investigators released a photo of the suspect, who they've identified as 21-year-old Corey Brown.

Brown is accused of shooting 24-year-old Nicoleia Taylor in broad daylight Monday at the Lafayette Gardens Housing Complex, located at 470 Dekalb Ave.

The victim’s family told News 12 that Taylor was on her way to the gym with a friend when Brown opened fire. They say he had a previous argument with the person she was walking with.

Taylor was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Sheohnna Taylor, the victim's sister, says she was not the intended target.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
