BROOKLYN - Community leaders are demanding an end to violence following an East Flatbush shooting that left two people dead and four others wounded.

Gunfire erupted outside of the Emmanuel Church of God on East 26th Street and Flatbush Avenue Monday night as mourners gathered for the wake of 38-year-old Jose Luis Robles.

According to police, 44-year-old Ronald Murphy, of Cypress Hills, and 40-year-old Sharieff Clayton, of the Bronx, were killed. Two women and two more men were also hit by bullets, but are in stable condition.

Councilman Jumaane Williams and Borough President Eric Adams joined other advocates near the church Tuesday to denounce senseless acts of violence in any form, not just gun violence. They said the shooting shows a disregard for life and is unacceptable.

Investigators say up to 15 rounds were fired and they believe there were multiple shooters.

The NYPD is offering a $2,500 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction. If you know something, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
