BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn couple is asking for help finding a bass guitar that holds priceless sentimental value.

Gregory Briche says he and his wife hopped in a green taxi cab after he played a show at The Paper Box in Bushwick Wednesday night. He says he accidentally left his bass in the trunk.

The problem is that the couple paid in cash and New York City taxis do not accept phone calls for lost property. They have called 311 and filed a lost property report on the New York City taxi cab website to no avail.

They say the bass is more than just an instrument because Briche's wife bought it for him after they got engaged. They are hoping that someone sees their story and gives back the gift that means so much to them.
