SUNSET PARK - A relative is facing charges after a woman and her four children were found brutally stabbed to death inside their Sunset Park home.

Qiao Zhen Li and her four children were found fatally stabbed Saturday night. Police say 25-year-old Ming Don Chen, a cousin of Li's husband, was arrested at the scene.

Police say they responded to a 911 call of a person stabbed inside a house at 870 57th St. at around 10:44 p.m. Upon arrival, police say they found 37-year-old Li and her four children unresponsive with multiple stab wounds. They had been stabbed with a kitchen knife.

Three of the children were pronounced dead at the scene. EMS crews rushed Li and another child to area hospitals, where both were pronounced dead.

Police have identified the young victims as 9-year-old Linda Zhou, 7-year-old Amy Zhou, 5-year-old Kevin Zhou and 1-year-old William Zhou.

Officials say Chen is a Chinese immigrant living in the country since 2004. They say he been staying with the family for the past couple of weeks.

Detectives say Chen has implicated himself in the deaths. He is charged with five counts of first-degree murder and five counts of second-degree murder, plus criminal possession of a weapon.

Investigators have not released details on a possible motive.

Chen is facing five counts of first degree murder, five counts of second degree murder and five counts of criminal possession.
