Creative fundraising saves programs at P.S. 26

BROOKLYN - A little creative fundraising helped P.S. 26 save some of its programs.

After having several programs cut due to the city budget, staff and parents at the school decided to organize a fundraiser. The day of activities featured games, rides and food with the purchase of two tickets.

The fundraiser netted $500, much more than organizers expected. Many said they were happy with the results and glad they took the initiative to set up programs.
