BROOKLYN - Emergency crews responded to a large brush fire Monday afternoon in Marine Park.

The flames broke out along the Belt Parkway between Flatbush and Rockaway avenues at around 3:30 p.m.

Officials say more than 100 firefighters responded to the scene.

Chopper 12 was above the fire, which sent thick plumes of smoke into the air.

Firefighters say that no injuries have been reported.
