BROOKLYN - Police are searching for a gunman they say shot and killed a young man in Crown Heights Sunday.

Authorities say the man was shot in broad daylight on Rogers Avenue between Crown and Montgomery streets. Neighbors say the deadly shooting occurred just before 6 p.m.

Police say when they arrived on the scene, the victim had died. They are still unsure of a motive in the shooting. Officers ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
