BROOKLYN - The city's rent regulations are set to expire on Monday, leaving millions of tenants across the five boroughs concerned about rising rent prices.

The state Senate and Assembly must either extend the current measure or make modifications before the end of the weekend.

"I will not allow the Legislature to leave town until the rent laws are resolved," said Gov. Andrew Cuomo. "The only question now is what improvements the Assembly and Senate can agree on."
