BROOKLYN - The second annual Curlfest celebrated natural beauty in Prospect Park, as well as the latest fashion and style trends.

The festival featured music and all types of clothing and accessories.

Vendors say Curlfest is a celebration of natural African-American women who accept who they are.

"It increases my self-esteem in a way, accepting myself as a black woman wearing her natural hair," says Mahatma Paul, of Canarsie.
