BROOKLYN - Total sales for Cyber Monday are expected to reach $1.8 billion, according to IBISWorld researchers.

Cyber Monday, which began in 2005, is the largest day for online sales, celebrated on the Monday after Thanksgiving.

The expected sales from this year’s holiday are expected to be up 13 percent from 2012.

Most websites will be offering discounts on goods.
