PROSPECT HEIGHTS - A cyclist was struck and killed by a livery cab driver early this morning in Prospect Heights.

Police say they received an emergency call at around 1:15 a.m. about an accident on Eastern Parkway between Underhill and Washington avenues, down the street from Grand Army Plaza. The cyclist was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he died.

The livery cab driver remained on the scene and the police investigation is ongoing.
