MANHATTAN - Students from the Cyprus Hills Community Middle School received a dance lesson at the prestigious New York City Ballet.

The East New York students, who are part of the Girl Scouts of Greater New York, also learned about different careers at the ballet, from music to costume design and stage management.

The experience was part of the Career Exploration Program, an exclusive program with the Girl Scouts that teamed up with the school for the unique opportunity.

Many of the girls say the trip opened up many career options for their futures.
