FORT GREENE - The decayed bodies of a man, woman and two teens were found inside a Fort Greene apartment Sunday, according to police. Police say the bodies of Hector Viera, 34, Haydee Soto, 42, John Borday, 15, and Valerie Rivera, 13, were discovered around 8:15 a.m. inside the Walt Whitman houses on Portland Avenue. Authorities say they were called to the scene after reports of an odor. When no one answered, police say they broke the door down and found the bodies. Neighbors say Viera, Soto?s boyfriend, was abusive and had lived with the family for a year or two. No causes of death have been released and the investigation is ongoing.
