BROOKLYN - Many Brooklyn residents will be wearing denim clothes to support survivors of sexual assault and dating violence for "Denim Day."

The movement began in Italy after a judge ruled that because a victim of rape helped her assailant remove her jeans; she participated in consensual sex.

Students will perform a youth poetry slam and speakout at Borough Hall starting at 3:30 p.m.
