BROOKLYN - The Belt Parkway is receiving some much-needed TLC.

The Department of Transportation dispatched 100 potholes crews over the weekend to resurface key portions of the busy roadway between Flatbush Avenue and Knapp Street.

The harsh winter has left the roadway covered in craters, and many drivers with flat tires.

Commuters are being advised to avoid the area and expect some delays until the repairs are complete.
