BROOKLYN - The Department of Transportation has made a promise to repave one of the most pothole-ridden roads in the borough.

The DOT says it will overhaul a major portion of 86th Street in Bensonhurst that has been damaging cars and causing headaches for drivers following a harsh winter.

Crews will tackle the road between 14th Avenue and Stillwell Avenue during overnight hours in three separate segments beginning in August.
