Dept. of Education cuts bus service to roughly 800 students

(09/08/10) BROOKLYN - Some Brooklyn seventh- and eighth-graders are starting the new year without their free bus service.

The Department of Education cut bus service for roughly 800 students to save money this year. Mark Twain Intermediate School in Coney Island with about 500 students was the hardest hit by the cuts.
