BROOKLYN - Tax delinquents are now facing the embarassement of being publicly exposed on the Internet by the Department of Taxation and Finance.

The DTF has begun posting the state's top 250 businesses and top 250 individual tax debtors on its Web site.

People and organizations whose names appear on the list of shame must contact the taxation agency and set up a payment plan before they can be taken off the list.
