Designers preview costumes ahead of West Indian Day Parade

BROOKLYN - With the West Indian Day Parade only days away, costume designers gave a sneak peak of the designs ahead of the parade.

Designers say that they began working on this year's costumes in December.

They say that creating the costumes involved a lot of wire bending, feathering and sewing, but that all the work is worth it and they are proud of their creations.

The costumes can be seen heading down Eastern Parkway during the parade on Monday.
