Dewey H.S. faces massive restructuring

BROOKLYN - Dewey High School is facing some big education changes and restructuring due to what the Department of Education (DOE) calls poor performance.

Officials told parents at a meeting last night that the Gravesend school could lose half its staff and be renamed by the end of the year. It's one of dozens of other schools in danger.

News 12 Brooklyn reached out to the DOE for comment, but has not yet heard back.
