Discounts offered to Brooklyn Half-Marathon runners

CONEY ISLAND - In an effort to boost business on Coney Island, some merchants are giving discounts to runners who ran in the Brooklyn Half-Marathon.

More than 30 businesses, including restaurants, amusement attractions and shops, throughout Coney Island and Park Slope are offering discounts to the runners, their family and friends.

The Brooklyn Cyclones are offering discounts to games this week and the Coney Island History Project is offering to record your Coney Island memories using the History Center's recording booth for free.
