BROOKLYN - Two schools in Brooklyn could soon be on the chopping block. The Department of Education released a list of 11 struggling schools that it wants to see phased out.

The schools are M.S. 571 and P.S. 260 Breuckelen. Officials say the schools have consistently struggled with poor test scores, declining graduation rates and low enrollment.
