BROOKLYN - The Department of Education voted early Wednesday morning to close five underperforming schools in Brooklyn.The vote came down after a meeting that was filled with concerned parents, teachers and students.The schools being closed are Paul Robeson High School, P.S. 332, the Middle School for Academic & Social Excellence, Metropolitan Corporate Academy and Maxwell Career and Technical Education High School.
