GRAVESEND - A pit bull attack in Gravesend left a postal worker hospitalized Monday.

Witnesses say they called 911 at around 1 p.m. near Avenue P and East Fifth Street.

The male victim received treatment at Coney Island Hospital for puncture wounds to his leg.

Another postal worker who completed the victim's route says his colleague is expected to be OK.
