Domestic violence survivors receive day of pampering

BROOKLYN - Mary Kay and Safe Horizon have banded together to provide a day of pampering for domestic violence survivors in Brooklyn.

With live music and treats, the women received makeovers in time for the holiday season. The women say they enjoyed the pampering and are excited to take home the makeup they used today.

This is the first time the two organizations have come together for an event. The Victim Assistance Organization has also helped provide a safe place to sleep, food and support for the women.
