Dozens arrested in drug bust in East New York

EAST NEW YORK - Police arrested 32 people in a massive drug bust targeting residents in the Cypress Hills Houses in East New York.

Police say they conducted an 8-moth-long investigation at the complex into cocaine and heroin trafficking, culminating in most arrests on Friday, and the surrender of the final suspect today.

Officials say that investigation was in response to community complaints about increased drug and gang activity at the complex.
