BROOKLYN - The borough is marking Memorial Day with several moving tributes to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Dozens marched down Manhattan Avenue Sunday in the annual Greenpoint Veterans Memorial Day Parade. People in the neighborhood say they look forward to the event each year to not only remember fallen veterans, but to also say thank you to those serving today.

Kings County will host its own Memorial Day parade with this year's theme of "Lest we Forget."
