Dozens rally for annual Immigrants' Day of Action

NEW YORK - Dozens of local advocates gathered at City Hall today for the annual Immigrants' Day of Action.

Protesters say that after recent state budget cuts, they're worried Mayor Michael Bloomberg will cut funding from ESL classes, the Immigrant Opportunities Initiative and other resource centers that support immigrants throughout the city.

According to advocates, they have until July 1 when the city budget is due to make their voices heard.
