BROOKLYN - One person was injured after a car crashed into a store in Brownsville Wednesday afternoon.

Fire officials say the driver of a Ford Mercury hit several other cars on Rutland Road before smashing through the store near East 94th Street around 12:45 p.m.

The driver was the only person to get hurt, investigators say.

EMS took him to a hospital with minor injuries.
