BROOKLYN - City drivers may begin to think twice about driving through the boroughs.

The next toll hike proposed by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority could raise fares for E-ZPass users by 5 percent. Those paying cash would see an increase of 18 percent.

The vast majority of drivers in New York use E-ZPass.
