BROOKLYN - Drivers were stranded on the side of the Belt Parkway Friday morning after nearly a dozen cars hit potholes and blew out tires.

The traffic incident occurred on the east side of the Belt Parkway just past exit 11.

Many drivers were stranded on the side of the roadway waiting for tow trucks or changing tires.

News 12 reached out to the Department of Transportation about the pothole problem on the Belt Parkway, but it has not yet responded.
