DUMBO residents hope new lights bring extended park hours

DUMBO - Brooklyn's Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park will be getting new lights and residents hope that means extended hours for the DUMBO park.DUMBO residents have long complained that the park isn't open late enough. Now, the Department of Parks and Recreation plans to install lights at the state-run park. Residents are hoping the park will be kept open past 10 p.m. during the summer months, but new hours have yet to be announced.
