BROOKLYN - Teachers at an East Flatbush school say they haven't seen a paycheck in three weeks and are worried that payday next Wednesday will show no change in their bank accounts.

The Learner's Haven Early Childhood Center is funded through the Administration for Children's Services (ACS), but the school is independently owned, with the owners writing the checks.

The center claims that ACS hasn't given them the money needed to write the paychecks, but a representative from ACS told News 12 Brooklyn that the money was deposited.

The educational center is scheduled to close by the end of June. Employees say they expect to get unemployment, but in the meantime, they're struggling to get by.
