EAST NEW YORK - Authorities are probing the shooting death of an East New York barber who was shot and killed in broad daylight Thursday.

The 32-year-old man, who owned Eric Cuts on Fulton Street, died while being transported to the hospital. Authorities say an assailant shot him in the back at 2830 Fulton St.

A police investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
